Self-generation of Prosperity by the Society

  • Revolutions rose to fulfill those ideals.
  • Very much has been done; as much remains to be done.
  • The integral nature of society or creation is such that any farfetched ideal humanity has had, had its distant mild echo in the past.

Prosperity – Spiritual & Material

Prosperity is a material ideal, even as idealism is a spiritual efficiency. Efficiency is the means by which the goal of prosperity is realized. The word signifies plenty and abundance and can be extended to mean creation of such plenty. Starting from the very first principles, we start in energy. To be able to produce more by releasing greater energy and achieving higher results by determination and organisation and skills is prosperity. Generation of greater energy in volume of higher energy in quality is achieved by espousing higher ideals.

Notes on Work

11.7.73. - The individual expands, grows, progresses, gives, receives at the tether ends of his nature. It is these bare ends of temperament we must know and at which we must work. So also in work, thought the basic personality, history, character of the work must be thoroughly known and identified with, it is the tether end at which new work begins, problems arise, resistances hold firm, etc. So identification and emphasis must be placed on touching, moulding, changing things at these points.

Concepts and Strategies

Infinity, Remembrance, Hostility, Transformation and Surrender are the five concepts and strategies that summarise this yoga.

Infinity should be seen not as a mere opposite to the finite which is the boundless finite, but that which is,

- Self-existing as the Infinite in its own right.

- Capable of neither decreasing nor increasing by movement.

- Richer in the lower planes when transformed than in the higher planes.

Contradictions as Complementaries

  • The Life Divine opens with this theme and He declares that this is the profoundest method of nature.
  • In the last chapter, He reconciles these contradictions about the human soul, saying it is really universal and transcendental.
  • There He enunciates that the method of converting the one into the other is transformation.
  • Contradictions were chosen by nature to achieve the goal of lila.
